Robert A. (Andy) Dawson, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Director, Defense Personal Property Management Office, U.S. Transportation Command, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. USTRANSCOM is a global combatant command with functional responsibilities for air, land and sea transportation for the Department of Defense, ultimately delivering national objectives on behalf of the President and Secretary of Defense.
Mr. Dawson is a 25-year Army veteran, retiring as a colonel in 2018. Prior to his current assignment he served as a Supervisory Transportation Management Specialist in the J3, U.S. Transportation Command. Mr. Dawson has extensive experience in Department of Defense transportation and supply chain operations and is a veteran of multiple contingency operations. Mr. Dawson was appointed to the Civilian Senior Executive corps in December 2022.
