Major General KEVIN V. DOYLE

Maj. Gen. Kevin V. Doyle is the Deputy Commanding General, Security Assistance Group-Ukraine, Lucius D. Clay Kaserne, Wiesbaden, Germany. Security Assistance Group-Ukraine, comprised of approximately 500 joint and multinational service members from over 25 countries, provides long-term focused organizational structure to coordinate and oversee the full spectrum of Security Force Assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Maj. Gen. Doyle earned his commission as a distinguished graduate in 1989 through the Academy of Military Science, McGhee Tyson Air National Guard Base, Tennessee. He then completed Undergraduate Navigator Training at Mather Air Force Base, California and F-4 Replacement Training Unit George Air Force Base, California. Maj. Gen. Doyle was selected to attend Euro-North Atlantic Treaty Organization Joint Jet Pilot Training at Shepperd Air Force Base, Texas prior to attending F-16 training at McConnell AFB, Kansas. His career spans 42 years and includes service as both an Air Force officer and an enlisted Marine. Maj. Gen. Doyle has served as the Air National Guard Assistant to Commander for the Continental U.S. North American Aerospace Defense Command Region - 1st Air Force, the NORAD Deputy Combined Forces Air Component Commander, the Chief of Staff for the Indiana Air National Guard, and in a variety of unit command and headquarters positions with both the Ohio and Indiana National Guard. Prior to assuming his current position, Maj. Gen. Doyle served as the Air National Guard Assistant to the Commander, United States Air Forces in Europe - Air Forces Africa, Ramstein Air Base, Germany.

Maj. Gen. Doyle is a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Weapons Instructor Course (F-16) with more than 4,000 flying hours in the F-16, A-10C, F-4E, AT/T-38 and T-37, including more than 128 combat missions, totaling more than 400 combat hours. Throughout his career he has participated in military operations to include PACAF Theater Security Plan and operations Southern Watch, Northern Watch, Iraqi Freedom and Enduring Freedom.
