Brigadier General RICHARD A. ERREDGE

Brig. Gen. Rick Erredge is the Mobilization Assistant to the Commander, United States Cyber Command at Fort George G. Meade, Maryland. In this role, he assists the Commander, U.S. Cyber Command, with operational control of cyber operations missions conducted by all military services and the Coast Guard. He also assists the Commander to organize, direct and manage the use of the reserve component forces to support the synchronization and coordination of cyberspace planning and operations to defend and advance national interests in collaboration with domestic and international partners.

Brig. Gen. Erredge was commissioned in 1994 through the Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps program at the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He completed a Master of Science degree in National Security and Resource Strategy through the Eisenhower School at National Defense University. Upon commissioning he spent 8 years on active duty at installation and Major Command organizations as a Personnel officer before joining the Air Force Reserve where he has had several installation level Air Reserve Technician and Traditional Reserve assignments working as a Personnel and Cyberspace Operations officer. He is a two-time graduated squadron commander and graduated Wing Commander.

Prior to this assignment Brig. Gen. Erredge was the Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of the Central Security Service, Fort George Meade, Maryland. He assisted the Deputy Chief, Central Security Service with operational control of signals intelligence missions conducted by all military services and the Coast Guard, comprising more than 16,600 personnel.
