Teresa R. Fiegl, a member of the Senior Executive Service, is the Assistant Auditor General of the Operations and Support Audits Directorate, Air Force Audit Agency, Joint Base San Antonio Randolph, Texas. She leads Department of the Air Force audits in Cyber and Space Operations; Installations and Nuclear Operations; Air and Intelligence Operations; and Personnel, Training, and Healthcare Operations. She is also responsible for five AFAA Enterprise Support Offices with audit teams spanning the Western United States and Pacific Air Forces.
Ms. Fiegl began her federal career in 1995 as a student auditor with AFAA. She has held many positions in AFAA at multiple locations and levels of responsibility, including base-level and staff auditor, supervisory auditor, and later audit and program manager, as well as Deputy Chief of AFAA Workforce Development. She has also held various financial management positions with the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Budget, Air Force Rapid Capability Office–Field Support Unit and served as Chief for Data, Governance and Planning, Programming, Budget and Execution Integration Division with the Program Analysis and Financial Management Directorate at U.S. Transportation Command. Prior to her current assignment, Ms. Fiegl served as a Western Regional Audit Manager, Defense Contract Audit Agency, where she led federal contract audit teams throughout the Midwest and Denver, Colorado.
