Brigadier General ALLEN E. DUCKWORTH

Brig. Gen. Allen E. “JAKS” Duckworth​ is ​the Director of Operations, Strategic Deterrence and Nuclear Integration​ at ​Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Robins Air Force Base, Georgia​. He is responsible for strategic planning, mission assurance, risk management and mission execution across air, space, nuclear and information operations. He leads the Command Center during ongoing military operations and contingency response and manages continuity of operations to maintain mission-essential functions and sustain warfighting capabilities. The general heads the development of the operational readiness strategy to ensure units can accomplish their missions. Furthermore, he leads efforts to advance air component planning, execution and assessment, ensuring the Reserve remains agile and effective in joint, all-domain operations.

Brig. Gen. Duckworth earned his commission from the U.S. Air Force Academy in 1996. He entered the Air Force Reserve in 2005 after nine years on active duty as an A-10 combat pilot. He amassed 450 combat hours in the A-10 supporting Operations Allied Force in 1999, Southern Watch in 2000, Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and Enduring Freedom in 2005.

Prior to his current position, the general was Deputy Commander,10th Air Force, Naval Air Station Fort Worth Joint Reserve Base, Texas.
