Mr. Brian Scarlett is performing the duties of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, the Pentagon, Arlington, Va. In his position, Mr. Scarlett provides overall supervision for matters related to manpower, military and civilian personnel, Reserve component affairs and readiness support for the nearly 700,000 Airmen and Guardians in both the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Space Force.
Mr. Scarlett recently served as the Senior Advisor to the Assistant Secretary of the Army for Manpower and Reserve Affairs, where he advised the Assistant Secretary on matters regarding policy and performance oversight of human resources, training, readiness, mobilization, military health affairs, force structure, and manpower management and marketing. Prior to that position, he focused on social media and digital marketing for the Army as the Integrated Communications Marketing Manager at the Army Enterprise Marketing Office, where he helped build the foundation for their social media program. Mr. Scarlett also served as the Director of Vetting at the White House Office of Presidential Personnel.
