SCOTT P. WEYERMULLER

​​Brig. Gen. Scott P. Weyermuller​ is ​the Special Assistant to the Commander,​ ​United States Strategic Command​. He supports the Commander’s strategy, policy, plans, resources, requirements, and advocacy of Unified Command Plan missions by directly implementing the Commander's vision. He prepares the Combatant Commander for engagements with the President, Congress, Secretary of War, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Combatant Commanders, Service Chiefs, and leaders from allied and partner nations.

Brig. Gen. Weyermuller received his commission in June 1999 as a distinguished graduate from the United States Air Force Academy. He served as an A-10 structural engineer, a B-52 aircraft commander, and a B-2 instructor and evaluator pilot. He commanded an operational B-2 bomb squadron and B-52 bomb wing. His staff assignments included leading the rewrite of the major operational war plan for the defense of the Korean peninsula, as well as the strategic requirements and programming for all B-1, B-2, and B-52 fleet modernization programs. He also served as the Director, Commander’s Action Group and Senior Executive Officer to the Commander, United States Strategic Command.

Brig. Gen. Weyermuller is a Command Pilot with more than 2,600 flying hours in the B-2 and B-52 including more than 30 combat hours in support of Operation Odyssey Dawn. Prior to his current assignment, he served as the Commander, Second Bomb Wing, Barksdale Air Force Base, Louisiana.
