BRIGADIER GENERAL STEVEN R. ROSENMEIER Brig. Gen. Steven R. Rosenmeier is the Mobilization Assistant to the Deputy Chief of Staff, Manpower, Personnel, and Services, Headquarters Air Force, Arlington, Va. He assists in providing comprehensive plans and policies covering all life cycles of military and civilian personnel management, which includes military and civilian end strength management, education and training, compensation, resource allocation, and the worldwide U.S. Air Force services program. General Rosenmeier entered the Air Force in 1988 as a graduate of the U.S. Air Force Academy. Beginning his career at Pope Air Force Base, North Carolina, he managed personnel programs supporting members of the 317th Tactical Airlift Wing. During his career, he led two military personnel flights before commanding a mission support squadron and group. A career personnel officer, General Rosenmeier has also served as the senior air reserve component liaison, Air Force Central Command, Air Forces Forward and as a division chief within the Headquarters Air Force Reserve Command, Force Generation Center and Headquarters Air Force staffs. Prior to his current position, the general was the Director of Personnel, Office of Air Force Reserve, Arlington, Va.
