Arizona and New Mexico Civil Support Teams train with civil agencies

Soldiers and Airmen from the 91st Civil Support Team, Arizona National Guard, and the 64th CST, New Mexico National Guard teamed up with firefighters and medics from Mesa Timber Fire and Medical District, Pinetop Fire District, and Public Information Officers from the Navajo County Department of Emergency Management and Preparedness to conduct Joint Hazard Assessment Team exercises in Show Low, Arizona, Feb. 27-29.

JHAT exercises allow the Guardsmen of the 91st CST to train with other CSTs, and civil agencies to be prepared to confront any chemical, biological, and radiological threats against the homeland at a moment’s notice as a combined, efficient, and effective team.
