The Blue Angels perform during the San Francisco Fleet Week Air Show, Oct. 5, 2018. The Blue Angels team is the United States Navy’s flight demonstration squadron, with aviators from the Navy and Marines. The team was formed in 1946, making it the second oldest formal flying aerobatic team in the world. U.S. Marine Maj. Jeff Mullins flies the number three F/A-18 Hornet aircraft and Capt. Beau Mabery flies C-130T Hercules known as "Fat Albert" operated by U.S. Marines.
