Soldiers from 102 Oregon CERFP Arrive in Hawaii for Vigilant Guard/ Makani Pahili 2015 Exercise

Soldiers from the 102 Oregon CERFP landed at Kalaeloa Airport to take part in Vigilant Guard/ Makani Pahili 2015 exercise. The unit from the Oregon National Guard arrived on one C-17 aircraft at approximately 1400 (2:00 p.m.). The aircraft carried the soldiers and three trailers filled with equipment needed to take part in the exercise. The soldiers from Oregon will be staying at Bellows Air Force Base in Waimanalo during their time in Hawaii. They are trained in search and rescue tactics and will be training along side members of the Hawaii Army National Guard through out the event.
