Accelerate Change: Empowered Airmen

We live in a world that is driven by rapidly changing technology and an environment that includes aggressive and capable global competitors. Airmen are key to cutting unnecessary bureaucracy, recognizing and understanding our competition, and thinking of creative ways we can reshape the design of our Air Force. The Air Force must accelerate, must change, and must prepare for the future!

This page is dedicated towards highlighting the accomplishments of our talented Airmen at all levels and to show the impact they can make when they are informed and empowered to problem solve and make smart recommendations and decisions.

Soldiers with the 8th Special Troop Battalion, 8th Theater Sustainment Command, upload 25th Infantry Division equipment on to Logistics Support Vessel 3 General Brehon B. Somervell for a Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center exercise 24-01, on Joint Base Pearl-Harbor Hickam, Hawaii, 23 Oct. 2023. The soldiers will be transporting the equipment from Oahu, to Big Island for JPMRC. The Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) is the Army’s newest Combat Training Center (CTC) and generates readiness in the environments and conditions where our forces are most likely to operate in. JPMRC 24-01 includes over 5,300 training participants from across the U.S. Joint Force, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, Indonesia, and Thailand. The combat training center rotation will take place Oct. 20 through Nov. 10 on Oahu and Big Island, providing realistic training designed to build readiness and enhance interoperability throughout the Indo-Pacific region. Throughout the rotation, units will experience all-domain training challenges in conditions that realistically mimic the operational environment they may experience in crisis or conflict.
