Indiana Task Force 1's (INTF-1) mission is to conduct search and rescue throughout the response to the hurricane that made landfall on September 14th 2018. Rescue efforts spanned in the state of North Carolina included swift water, flash flooding, high water vehicle rescues, and medical rescues.

INTF-1 is a very diverse group trained for any type of search and rescue. The team trains over 10,000 hours a year to be able to successfully execute search and rescue safely.

They bring everything required to sustain their operation without resupply for 72 hours at a very minimum.
