Iraqi Air Force maintainers perform maintenance on Iraqi F-16Cs so its pilots can perform coalition-led airstrikes to attack the ISIS terrorist group in Syria in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, June 11, 2018. Maintainers are a key component in the Iraqi Air Force, which is tasked with aerial responsibility for policing international borders and surveillance of it’s national assets. A Coalition of 77 members have committed themselves to the goal of eliminating the threat posed by ISIS in Iraq and Syria and have contributed in various capacities to the effort. The breadth and diversity of Coalition partners demonstrates the global and unified goal of an enduring defeat of ISIS in Iraq and Syria.(U.S. Air Force video by Senior Airman James Merriman)
