Members of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense visit Kuwait, Oct 2022
U.S. Embassy Kuwait, Charg d’Affaires, James Holtsnider joined members of the House Appropriations Subcommittee on Defense, during a visit to Camp Arifjan, Kuwait, Oct. 23, 2022. They were greeted by Eric Gordon, deputy to the commander, Area Support Group – Kuwait. The group comprised of David Bortnick, Matthew Bower, Ariana Sarar, and Nicholas Vance, was here to conduct official discussions with U.S. officials regarding National Security issues and challenges in the Central Command area of responsibility. They were able to meet service members and survey defense systems used to bolster security cooperation in the region.
