Dr. Mark T. Esper, 23rd Secretary of the Army, visited Camp Shelby Joint Forces Training Center August 2, 2018. Esper will conducted physical training with the soldiers from the 154th Regional Training Institute currently attending the Basic Leaders Course, hosted a town hall meeting with the 154th RTI Soldiers, observed UH-60 Blackhawk Helicopter gunnery training and was given a tour of Camp Shelby.
