U.S. Army Sgt. Jonathan Alvarez, an indirect fire infantryman with the 1-160th Infantry Brigade, California Army National Guard, mobilized with his team from Traffic Control Point 10 near the Eaton Fire in Pasadena on Jan. 19, 2025. While at TCP 10, they provided security and support to the Christmas Tree Lane neighborhood, home to the oldest large-scale Christmas lighting display in the world, featuring 150 massive trees.
