Sullivan Cup - Operation Thunderstrike

Operation Thunderstrike is a public live fire capabilities exercise — featuring tanks and Bradleys — to demonstrate armored platform lethality and the history and evolution of armored warfare. It was conducted April 29, 2024, at Red Cloud Range on Fort Moore, Ga. Scenes include multiple vehicle platforms firing on a simulated enemy position, families and friends of the Armor branch enjoying a static display and competitor team interviews. Interview subjects are:
Staff Sgt. David Eggland, 4th Infantry Division, Fort Carson, Colo.
Staff Sgt. James Ferrone 3rd Infantry Division, Fort Stewart, Ga.
Staff Sgt. David Riddick, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment, U.S. Army National Guard, Knoxille, Tenn.
