Republic of Korea and U.S. military aircraft land at Gwangju Air Base, South Korea, April 18, 2025. The aircraft will participate in Freedom Flag 25-1, a joint and bilateral military exercise between U.S. and Republic of Korea air forces that fosters trust, understanding and interoperability between Allied forces through challenging, realistic scenarios. The aircraft in order of appearance are a ROK F-15K Slam Eagle, U.S. F-16 Flying Falcon, F-35B Lightning II, ROK FA-50 Golden Eagle, and a F-5 Tiger II. (U.S. Marine Corps video by Lance Cpl.
