The 82nd Airborne Division’s cavalry units host a spouse spur ride to build espirit-de-corps among families on Fort Bragg, N.C., Feb. 18, 2018. Spouses learned about Paratrooper skills, equipment and traditions during physical training and obstacle course events and demonstrations at the Advanced Airborne School. U.S. Army Capt. Zachary Bontrager, an operations officer assigned to 1st Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment, Combat Aviation Brigade, 82nd Airborne Division describes the purpose and value of the event for Paratroopers' families.
