Cobra Gold 20: Engineering Civic Action Program Construction, Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

U.S. Navy Sailors from Naval Mobile Construction Battalion 11 Detachment Thailand work alongside Royal Thai Navy Engineers at an Engineering Civic Action Program (ENCAP) to lay tile and concrete during exercise Cobra Gold 2020 in Rayong, Kingdom of Thailand, Feb. 26, 2020, followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony to mark the completion of the project on Mar. 2, 2020. This is a joint project between the Seabees with NMCB-11’s Detachment Thailand and Royal Thai Navy engineers to construct a three-room school house to increase participating nations' capabilities to effectively plan and execute multinational missions. Cobra Gold 20 maintains a consistent focus on humanitarian civic action, community engagement and medical activities conducted during the exercise to support the needs and humanitarian interests of civilian populations around the region.
