Top acquisition leaders for the Department of the Air Force detailed how the acquisition process is being reshaped to meet the demands of modern warfare, during a panel at the Air and Space Forces Association’s 2026 Warfare Symposium.
Lt. Gen. Rebecca Sonkiss, who took over as Air Mobility Command’s interim commander earlier this month, addressed service members, industry and journalists on the state of mobility readiness at the 2026 Air and Space Forces Association Warfare Symposium.
