Sergeant travels to Philippines in search of MIA remains
Part of a World War II jeep's tire tread found April 6, 2010, in Tacloban, Philippines. During a Moore's Marauders mission to find six servicemembers designated as "missing in action," local guides dug through a foot of mud to recover various pieces from the site. This tire tread was the only affirmation the crew got that the site they found was indeed the one of the C-47 Skytrain that went down while delivering supplies to guerilla forces.
