Humanitarian mission impacts team, residents

Tech. Sgt. William Parker gives basic life support instruction during a two-day train-the-trainer class July 25 on Vanuatu. Sergeant Parker is the NCO in charge of Clinical Medicine Flight, 15th Medical Group from Hickam Air Force Base, Hawaii. He was part of a team that taught basic life support and self-aid buddy care train-the-trainer courses to police, immigration and customs personnel, and paramedics on the island of Vanuatu. The team was part of the Oceania Humanitarian Assistance Mission that brought medical, dental and engineering personnel to perform civil assistance projects on Vanuatu, Nauru and Kiribati July 20 through 30.
