Lives depend on effective communication
Senior Airman Matthew Madsen inspects a Remotely Operated Video Enhanced Receiver or ROVER. ROVER kits include antennas that feed real-time full-motion video from aircraft to ground forces and radios for them to exchange information. ROVERs increase the communication ability by reducing talk-time required to get the aircrew's eyes on target. Airman Madsen is a maintenance operations controller with the 704th Expeditionary Support Squadron at Fort Hood, Texas. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Teresa Sullivan)
