Kadena school teacher thanks his military medical heroes

Jim Brierly hugs Capt. Dan Bradford as 1st Lt. Marta Lofthouse looks on May 2 at Kadena Air Base, Japan. Captain Bradford and Lieutenant Lofthouse were the pilots who flew the KC-135 Stratotanker that medically evacuated Mr. Brierly to Hawaii after he suffered a major heart attack March 30, 2006. Mr. Brierly and his wife, Marite, visited the units to thank them for their efforts. Mr. Brierly is a English as a second language teacher at Kadena Elementary School here.
