Transient alert maintainers provide critical mission support
One of the more visible signs of transient alert maintenance people on the flightline here are the "Follow Me" trucks. Arriving cargo aircraft are escorted to their parking spots March 20 at Balad Air Base, Iraq by the driver of the "Follow Me" truck who then gets out of the vehicle and marshals in the aircraft to its parking spot.
