Airmen advise Djiboutian air traffic controllers
Navy Lt. j.g. Stewart Arthur and Tech. Sgt. Brian Lyles manage 10 Air Force and Navy servicemembers who partner with Djiboutian civilians and French military in guiding all aircraft flying in and out of the airfield shared by Camp Lemonier and the Djibouti-Ambouli airport. They are the enlisted and commissioned air traffic and early warning control officers assigned to Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa headquarters at Camp Lemonier, Djibouti. Lieutenant Arthur is deployed from Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, Calif., and Sergeant Lyles is deployed from Royal Air Force Mildenhall, England. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt.
