CMAX/Collaborative Multi-Agency Exercise
Staff Sgt. Ben Siems closes the door of a UN-1N Huey helicopter after Navy and Air Force medics loaded a "victim" onboard during the Collaborative Multi-Agency Medical Exercise, known as CMAX, that took place in the Washington D.C. area on Dec. 7. The annual exercise was designed to test the capabilities of the local authorities to handle a major catastrophe. This was the first year that patient transport was included in the exercise.
