Permanent change of station and temporary duty reporting has been restored for Airmen and civilians traveling to Keesler Air Force Base, Miss., Air Force Personnel Center officials said.

The 81st Training Wing commander implemented the stop movement order in response to Hurricane Isaac. The stop movement order was lifted today, and military and civilian members who were stopped in route are directed to proceed to Keesler AFB, said William Houston, the AFPC assignments advisor.

"Airmen who were put in a TDY hold status will need an amendment to their orders by the military personnel section at the TDY location issued before they depart to ensure their time is accounted for. Airmen who don't hear from the issuing MPS should contact that section for amendment information," Houston said.

All inbound Airmen should contact their sponsor or respective gaining unit to facilitate the prior arrangement of government quarters and transportation. Military members who have questions can also contact the AFPC assignment programs at procedures branch at afpc.dpapp@us.af.mil. Civilians can email the AFPC program management and evaluation branch at afpc.dpiep.workforce.eff.br@us.af.mil.
