'Today's Air Force' reviews Air Force Week 2012

Air Force Television News released a new edition of "Today's Air Force" on Aug. 29; taking a look back at Air Force Week 2012 - New York City.

On this episode's "Straight from the Top,"  Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force James A. Roy talks about the importance of showcasing Air Force capabilities to the public. Later, Staff Sgt. Shannon Ofiara presents a review of the various events at and around Air Force week, from fly-bys to fly-balls, as the Air Force showed its colors to thousands of supporters around the Big Apple.

This week's line-up includes:

-Straight from the Top: The Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force talks
about Air Force Week
-Opening Ceremony from Air Force Week
-The 2012 Portraits in Courage announcement video with a few interviews
afterwards.

This 30-minute, bi-weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel and American Forces Television Service stations around the world.
The show also airs on more than 140 public cable-access stations within the United States.
