VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. (AFNS) -- The X-37B Orbital Test Vehicle 1 landed here Dec. 3, marking advancement for the Air Force in experimental test missions. Vandenberg people in self-contained atmospheric suits conducted initial checks to ensure the vehicle and area were safe. The X-37B made an autonomous landing after 244 days in space after launching from Cape Canaveral, Fla.
