In this edition of "Today's Air Force," Airmen hit the Florida beach just south of Cape Canaveral for Air Force Week Cocoa Beach! Join your hosts Staff Sgt. Nicholas Kurtz and Airman 1st Class Alina Richard as they cover Air Force Week from all angles.

In Part 1, see some of the awesome gear special tactics Airmen use to take control of an airfield and direct air traffic. Plus, viewers will meet the man responsible for putting Air Force Week Cocoa Beach together.  And, a hometown hero talks about what it's like to serve his nation.

In Part 2 of the special report on Air Force Week Cocoa Beach, Airman Richard catches up with the Airmen of the Air Force Band as they head to Sea World to put on a spectacular show for fans. And a local kid comes home to dazzle an audience of his friends and neighbors.

In Part 3, Sergeant Kurtz checks out some of the events at Kennedy Space Center, where he finds an Air Force Monster Truck and a wandering Astronaut. Then Air Force Week Cocoa Beach wraps up with an intense air show over the ocean as tens of thousands look on. And Senior Airman Brad Sisson brings viewers a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to keep the Air Force Thunderbirds air demonstration team flying.
