Lashkar Gah
Navy F/A-18C Hornet pilots, Air Force MQ9A Reaper operators, and Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon pilots provided armed overwatch for friendly forces. The F/A-18C pilots conducted a show of force and performed strafing runs over an enemy target to deter enemy activity. The Reaper operators released a missile over an enemy target. The F-16C pilots conducted shows of force over enemy positions. Ground controllers and joint terminal attack controllers declared the engagements successful.

An Air Force C-130 Hercules aircrew flew a combat-airdrop mission in Dai Kundi Province, Afghanistan, delivering approximately 29,000 pounds of combat-sustainment supplies to friendly forces.

Air Force C-17 Globemaster III aircrews and a C-130 aircrew flew combat-airdrop missions in Helmand Province, Afghanistan, delivering approximately 239,000 pounds of combat-sustainment supplies to friendly forces.
