TACP: Joint effort puts bombs on target
Senior Airman Michael Munson is a joint terminal attack controller assigned to the 682nd Air Support Operations Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base, S.C. Airman Munson is a TACP member and has been through air assault, ranger, airborne and Marine hand-to-hand training schools. TACP Airmen are specialists who are assigned to combat units. They advise ground forces on aircraft employment and capabilities, coordinate and control aerospace operation, and participate in battle planning.
