Air Operations in Afghanistan Close-Air Support Chahar Bagh Multiple aircraft provided armed overwatch for friendly forces throughout the day. Soltani Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircrews provided armed overwatch, surveillance and reconnaissance for friendly forces and a friendly-forces convoy.
