Reserve major promotions announced Published May 18, 2010 DENVER (AFNS) -- Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here announced results of the Calendar 2010 Air Force Reserve Line and Health Professions Major Promotion Selection Boards May 18. The selection boards convened at the center here Feb. 1 through Feb. 6 to determine those officers qualified to assume the next higher grade. Board members selected 448 of 2,228 officers considered. A complete list of Citizen Airmen selected for promotion is available online. Categories considered during these promotion boards are: Air Force Reserve Line, Dental Corps, Medical Corps, Nurses Corps, Medical Services Corps and Biomedical Services Corps. The results are: Selection statistics in-the-promotion zone: Participating Reserve - 203 Line officers selected from 278 considered for a 73 percent selection rate. - Six DC officers selected from eight considered for a 75 percent selection rate. - 16 MC officers selected from 19 considered for an 84 percent selection rate. - 34 NC officers selected from 64 considered for a 53 percent selection rate. - 16 MSC officers selected from 21 considered for a 76 percent selection rate. - Nine BSC officers selected from 11 considered for an 82 percent selection rate. Nonparticipating Reserve - No Line officers selected from 684 considered. - One DC officer selected from 44 considered for a 2 percent selection rate. - One MC officer selected from 10 considered for a 10 percent selection rate. - One NC officer selected from 63 considered for a 2 percent selection rate. - One MSC officer selected from 19 considered for a 5 percent selection rate. - One BSC officer selected from 58 considered for a 2 percent selection rate.
