Bagram
Air Force F-15E Strike Eagle aircrews provided armed overwatch for a friendly forces dismounted patrol. The aircrews modified ground controllers requets for precision-guided munitions when aircrews reported a school was in proximity of the intended target, so aircrews conducted a show of force, with flares launched. Aircrews later made cannon fire strafing runs when enemy fire did not cease. The strafing runs were declared successful.

Remak
Coalition aircrews, Air Force F-16C Fighting Falcon pilots, B-1B Lancer aircrews and F-15E aircrews provided armed overwatch for friendly forces, a friendly-forces patrol and friendly-forces convoys. The aircrews and pilots conducted shows of force and shows of presence to deter enemy activity during various operations. On-scene joint terminal attack controllers and ground controllers declared the actions successful.

Ghazni

An Air Force C-130 Hercules aircrew flew a combat-airdrop mission in Badghis Province, Afghanistan, delivering approximately 16,000 pounds of combat-sustainment supplies to friendly forces.

Zabul Province
A C-130 aircrew and a C-17 Globemaster III aircrew flew combat-airdrop missions in Zabul Province, Afghanistan, delivering approximately 75,000 pounds of combat-sustainment supplies to friendly forces.
