Chahar Bagh
Coalition pilots provided armed overwatch for friendly forces and conducted armed reconnaissance. The pilots later conducted a show of force at the request of ground forces to prevent enemy action. Following the show of force, the pilots remained in the area and corrected friendly mortar and artillery fire against enemy fighting positions.

Airlift Action

Farah Province
Air Force C-130 Hercules aircrews flew a combat-resupply mission in Farah Province, Afghanistan, airdropping approximately 57,000 pounds of combat-sustainment supplies to friendly forces.

Zabul Province
A C-130 aircrew flew a combat-resupply mission in Zabul Province, Afghanistan, airdropping approximately 35,000 pounds of combat-sustainment supplies to friendly forces.
