Photo essay: Pararescuemen help save lives

PORT-AU-PRINCE, Haiti (AFNS) --  Air Force Special Operations pararescuemen were on the scene Jan. 19 with other rescue organizations freeing a 25-year-old Haitian woman who had been trapped for seven days in a collapsed building after the earthquake hit the island nation.

The Airmen are assigned to  the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron at Hurlburt Field, Fla.
