Airman killed in Afghanistan

WASHINGTON (AFNS) --  Department of Defense officials announced Jan. 20 the identity of an Airman killed while supporting Operation Enduring Freedom.

Tech. Sgt. Adam K. Ginett, 29, of Knightdale, N.C., died Jan. 19 near Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan, of wounds suffered from an improvised explosive device. He was assigned to the 31st Civil Engineer Squadron, Aviano Air Base, Italy.
