Photo essay: Santa, friends welcome C-17

CHARLESTON AIR FORCE BASE, S.C. (AFNS) --  Three 437th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron leaders became visitors from the North Pole for a day and marshalled a C-17 Globemaster on the flightline here Dec. 22. 

The squadron held a fundraiser to chose which person would dress as Santa, a reindeer or an elf. Maj. Aaron Sasson, the operations officer, was Santa; Maj. Jonathan Downing, the commander, became a reindeer and the superintendent, Chief Master Sgt.  Derrell Wells, was the elf.
