AETC Public Affairs maintains the business page and plans to update "fans" a few times per week with news links, photos, events and videos. The goal is to engage current Airmen from all over the Air Force, but also potential recruits, families and co-workers. Anyone can access the command's page by visiting www.facebook.com/AirEducationandTrainingCommand. Visitors must be logged in to comment on a post or interact with the site. "Social media is yet another way of communicating with today's Airmen," said Lt. Col. Robyn Chumley, the AETC Public Affairs director. "This tool will help us keep up with the need for immediate at-your-finger-tips information about AETC and the Air Force." Currently, more than 200 million users are signed onto the social networking site. "Facebook's mission is to give people the power to share and make the world more open and connected," according to the company's Web site. "Millions of people use Facebook everyday to keep up with friends, upload an unlimited number of photos, share links and videos, and learn more about the people they meet."
