'Today's Air Force' features training, Earth Day celebrations

  • Published
The latest edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights how Airmen at Aviano Air Base in Italy prepare for combat, a new model in the C-130 Hercules fleet, and a celebration of Earth Day.

Combined training is a way to get to know allies, how they train and how they'll react in certain situations and vice versa, but sometimes the tools Airmen use are the key factors during an exercise. Take a look at vehicle operations Airmen and the devices they used during training.

And, in with the new and out with the old. Experience what has been coined the "workhorse" of the Air Force -- the C-130E in its final big mission, before the more advanced and energy-savvy "J" models take over.

Also featured is a celebration of Earth Day. See how Airmen around the world are doing their best to help by using less energy and recycling.
