Airman killed in Eastern Afghanistan

BAGRAM AIRFIELD, Afghanistan (AFNS) --  An Airman was killed by an improvised explosive device March 15 in Eastern Afghanistan.

The Airman was assigned to the 755th Air Expeditionary Group's Nangarhar Provincial Reconstruction Team in Jalalabad.

The name of the Airman is being withheld pending notification of next of kin and release by Defense Department officials.
