'Today's Air Force' features Iraqi election support

  • Published
This edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights the security help Airmen provided during the Iraqi elections. Jan. 31 marked the first elections for the people of Iraq since 2005.

And February is a time when we, as a nation, celebrate the accomplishments that African Americans have made throughout American history.

Also featured is how families cope with deployments. For the spouse, there's adjusting to being both mom and dad, and for the kids there's adjusting to life without mom or dad and taking on more responsibility at home.

The 30-minute, weekly news show can be seen every day on The Pentagon Channel, American Forces Radio and Television Service stations around the world, and is available via podcast at http://www.af.mil/library/podcast.asp. The show also airs on more than 140 public cable-access stations within the United States.
