'Today's Air Force' features Air Force Week Los Angeles Published Nov. 24, 2008 SAN ANTONIO (AFNS) -- This edition of "Today's Air Force" highlights the third and final Air Force Week celebration of 2008 which began with a proclamation ceremony at the famous Kodak Theater in Hollywood, Calif. Also featured is a new command. Air Force officials unveiled the colors during the assumption of command for 17th Air Force in Stuttgart, Germany, with their mission reaching out to another continent. And for most Americans, going to the dentist for a check-up or cleaning is almost a routine. Unfortunately not everyone has the same opportunities. Meet a man in this segment who is helping bring dental care to Afghanistan.
