Airman 1st Class Martin Uresti fires a signal flare from an observation tower Nov. 15 at Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Several security forces Airmen were practicing their proficiency deploying signal and illumination flares. Airman Uresti is a security forces apprentice with the 532nd Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron deployed from Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. His hometown is Donna, Texas.
