Airman found guilty, sentenced in court-martial Published Nov. 17, 2008 U.S. AIR FORCE ACADEMY, Colo. (AFNS) -- An Airman assigned to the 10th Security Forces Squadron here was found guilty by a panel of military officers of two violations of the Uniform Code of Military Justice during a general court-martial Nov. 14 here. Airman 1st Class David J. Christie (who is not a cadet at the U.S. Air Force Academy) was found guilty of violations included desertion with the intent to remain away permanently and failing to obey an order. The panel of officers sentenced Airman Christie to a bad conduct discharge, forfeiture of $500 pay per month for two months, reduction to the grade of E-1, and four months confinement.
