Reserve contact center announces new weekend schedule Published Oct. 1, 2008 DENVER (AFNS) -- The Reserve Personnel Contact Center support schedule is changing, Air Reserve Personnel Center officials here said. Starting Oct. 4, customer service counselors will be available the first three Saturdays of each month from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. mountain time to support Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve unit training assemblies. While federal holidays may alter the schedule, this enhanced customer service gives drilling Citizen Airmen the opportunity to speak with a customer service counselor during their UTA weekends. "We're always looking for better ways to serve our customers," said Dave Aldrich, ARPC's personnel services director. "We assessed the UTA programming for fiscal 2009 along with historical customer service calls and determined that providing service the first three Saturdays of each month reaches 95 percent of scheduled UTAs." Representatives at the center began supporting the UTA weekends in March 2006 with one weekend per month. In September 2007, the center began including select subject matter technicians for those areas where frequent questions were received. The coverage was expanded in January 2008 to two weekends per month. Counselors can be reached by calling 1-800-525-0102 (preferred) or DSN 926-6528. Airmen can always request assistance 24/7/365 by logging onto the virtual Personnel Center-Guard and Reserve Web site, the customer service Web portal for personnel support.
